DELIGHT creates... appreciation (love of the aesthetic form), interest (love of knowledge), zest (love of action), conviviality (love of company), recognition (love of achievement), controversy (love of dissent)

Watched a video clip of students sharing their understanding of delight.
I order to bring about change we need to start today! QCA is encouraging Action-based Research / Inquiry-based learning (diagram from yesterday shown) as a powerful tool for changing our practices.
Our challenge now is to...
- Trust our values/intuition
- Take action to improve your practice
- Gather data (photos, movies, student voice, teacher voice)
- Articulate your knowledge by testing it with colleagues)
- Become explicit lifelong learners- one step at a time
Online communities can provide the support and collective knowledge to make the challenges more sustainable.
The concept of 'Digital Natives' is wrong. Anyone is capable of working with ICT, young people just happen to have more time/opportunities to learn.
