Jeremy asked students what they wanted school to be...

"Schools should prepare students be flexible, purposeful, analytical, reflective, caring, committed, gracious citizens who are prepared to participate globally."

When confronted by the need for transformational change are we the quick cunning fox or the hedgehog (hedgehog curls up in a ball and tries to hide from the problem and hopes it wil go away)!

Intelligent failure- teachers should be allowed to intelligently fail while trying new things- in the same way that it is OK for kids to fail- sometimes you learn more from your mistakes than you do for successes.

Some people think

THEY WILL FIX IT.

WE ARE THE THEY!

My question-

Do we have the mandate from our educational structures to make transformational/structural change????
